This week's episode of "Weekly Health Talk with Dr. P" features ways to not hurt your back on a daily basis.
How do you pick up objects on the floor? This way of doing so may not come naturally, but it will! Give it a go and you'll never have back pain.


Dr. P here we're going to give you some more tips on things to do to not hurt your back on a daily basis. But you got to practice them they don't come naturally In a sense but they will after a while. So, you got to pick up something on the ground all right and you're near a chair and you've got a chair, something to balance near to you and unless you have good balance then I would like for you to have a wall here. i'll do this time. So, there's a little something, golfers instinctively know reach over pick it up. You can't hurt your back that way. However,... you know all the things that we don't want to see trying to get over. When you become one legged, because i'm going to use this term several times, the more one legged you come to get something, “Oh i can't do that”, well you can't do it because you're not strong enough. You got to work at that. But, pick it up boom. Golfers, watch a golf tournament they do it. They just distinct, you don't see them going over there doing this I t just doesn't happen, for some reason they got it and we're going to apply that throughout your life. Pick up something and If you can't pick it up one leg it's probably too heavy in the first place to do.
