Happy Monday Morning! Wake up on the right side of the bed with this week's episode of "Weekly Health Talk with Dr.P."
Stretch of the Week: Morning Stretch.
Start your day off on the right foot by adding this stretch to your morning routine. This can help you energize for the day, and maybe even skip your early morning coffee.


Alright morning stretch this is a great one to do. We’re going to do it in the bed which I prescribed a lot. This is great you got stiffness in the morning you want to avoid that get this thing going before you get out of bed. Get your body ready for a weight bearing. I'm gonna do it standing, she's gonna do it lying. Focus on her but for those who want a little bit more we're gonna do it standing. So, feet together, hands above your head, reach up, all right push your heels all the way to the to that baseboard. Squeeze your butt, pushing forward or in that case push it up. All right give me a long stretch make your body longer ones. Warms the backup warms the discs up. Stiffness in the morning will be decreased if you do this and hold. The key thing is to squeeze those glutes and push upward. Alright this is better than rolling it in the spine knee to chest. This will make the get up and down a lot easier. Alright. Thanks.
